This Privacy Policy explains how CreatorX Live Studio ("CreatorX", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our desktop application and website at creatorxlive.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account & authentication

Email address — to create your account and send one-time sign-in codes.
Name (optional) — for a personalised experience.
Social sign-in — if you choose Google, GitHub or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email and a provider account identifier from that provider to create or match your account. We never receive your social password.

Session & device

IP address, browser/OS user-agent, app platform and version, and timestamps — to operate secure, revocable sessions and prevent abuse.

Subscription & payments

Your plan, trial status, and subscription history. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details — payments are processed by third-party providers (Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PayPal, Topmate), who handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Communications & support

Emails you send us and messages exchanged for support.

2. What stays on your device (we never see it)

CreatorX composites and encodes your video on your own computer. Your camera, microphone and screen content, your scenes, and your recordings never pass through our servers.

Live video/audio is streamed directly from your machine to the destinations you choose (e.g. YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or a custom RTMP server). We are not in that path.
Recordings are written to your local disk. We do not upload or access them.
Streaming platform tokens (for one-click go-live) are stored encrypted in your operating system's keychain on your device, not on our servers.

3. How we use information

Provide and secure the Service, sign you in, and maintain your subscription and free trial.
Send transactional emails (sign-in codes, account and billing notices).
Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Improve reliability and diagnose problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, email delivery via Amazon SES), primarily in the US (us-west-2 region).
Payment processors: Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PayPal and Topmate, to take payments and activate subscriptions.
Social login providers you choose to use (Google, GitHub, LinkedIn).
Streaming platforms you connect (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) — only when you authorise them.
Legal: where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Cookies & local storage

The website uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (a session token) and to remember your region preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Sign-in codes expire within minutes; sessions expire automatically and can be revoked at any time. You can request deletion of your account (see below).

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), scoped access controls, short-lived signed download links, revocable sessions, and encrypted local storage for sensitive tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Access, correct or export your personal data.
Delete your account and associated personal data.
Withdraw consent or object to certain processing, where applicable.

To exercise any of these, email us at support@creatorxlive.com. Depending on your location (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, or India under the DPDP Act), you may have additional rights.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. International transfers

We operate globally and process data on infrastructure located in the United States. By using the Service you consent to this transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the Service.
